Spring Clean Up!

It’s that time of year and the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial is looking for volunteers to come out and help do the yearly Spring Clean Up! Join us for some weed pulling and raking. This event is open to the public and we welcome all the extra hands.

Thank You Jon Yohanek Family

On March 3rd, 2012, the Yohanek family joined the Door Devils MC at their monthly meeting to present a donation of $5500 to the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial.

We would like to say Thank You to the Yohanek family for their generous donation which was made in memory of their husband, brother and son, Jon Yohanek. These funds were a result of a benefit and charity ride put together by the family in 2011.  The ride extended from De Pere, Wisconsin to the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial.  Friends, family and bikers from around the state joined us to honor Jon Yohanek.

This donation will be utilized for the building of the pavilion in 2012. Our goal, once the frost has left the ground, is to get the foundation slab placed.  The pavilion has been a long awaited project and we are very excited to finally get the building going.  It will be available for use by all the different groups and visitors coming to the Memorial on a yearly basis.

Without the generosity from families of fallen riders, such as the Yohanek’s, the Memorial would not be what we have come to know it as today.
